Celebrating Volunteers Who Make Our Community Stronger

The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award recognizes outstanding volunteers who help local nonprofits, organizations and community efforts succeed. Presented in partnership with the St. Joseph Mustangs, this award celebrates the people who give their time, energy and heart to make a difference in the St. Joseph community.

What Is the TEAM PLAYER Award?

The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award program is a partnership with the St. Joseph Mustangs to highlight and celebrate the impact volunteers have in our community. A team player is often defined as someone who cares more about the group's success than their own and contributes to the effort by helping with tasks or projects. For nonprofits, volunteers are often great team players, and without them, the organization's impact would be diminished. The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award is a recognition program that celebrates volunteers within local organizations and promotes volunteerism.
