Caring Connection Volunteer Opportunities
The Caring Connection Crew is a United Way volunteer initiative that engages community members in hands-on service projects. More than 700 volunteers assemble hygiene kits, outdoor fun kits, fresh start kits, and more for local partner agencies. The program strengthens community connections and creates a meaningful impact for families in need across Greater St. Joseph.

The Community Volunteer Resource Network (CVRN) is designed for anyone interested in developing skills in volunteerism and volunteer management.

CVRN Meetings – 2026 Schedule
Join fellow nonprofits and community organizations to collaborate and share ideas.
Meeting Dates:
- May 21 at 2:00 p.m.
- July 15 at 2:00 p.m.
- September 17 at 2:00 p.m.
- November 18 at 2:00 p.m.
Meetings are held in person at United Way of Greater St. Joseph,{118 South 5th Street, St. Joseph, MO. 64501}
A Zoom option is available for those unable to attend in person.
