Community Connection & Coordination

PACE (Partners & Agencies Collaborating & Educating)

United Way PACE (Partners & Agencies Collaborating & Educating), is a learning series for agencies in our area. The goals of the learning series are to help increase capacity, aid staff as they are working with clients and improve collaboration. A variety of topics will be offered for all levels of staff.

United Way Resources 101

These sessions will be offered quarterly. Each session is geared to new agency staff and will provide them with a base understanding of agencies, resources and services available in the St. Joseph community.

United Way Community Support Worker {CSW} Network

This group meets throughout the year and is designed for those who work directly with clients/consumers/patients/etc. and are charged with helping clients navigate to resources beyond those their own agency offers.

Caring Connection

The Caring Connection Crew is a United Way volunteer initiative that engages community members in hands-on service projects. More than 700 volunteers assemble hygiene kits, outdoor fun kits, fresh start kits, and more for local partner agencies. The program strengthens community connections and creates a meaningful impact for families in need across Greater St. Joseph.
